Your excellent article reminds us of an article by Dr Kathum Habib in this website a few days ago in which he boasts of giving lectures to the Security apparatus of the Iraqi Bath’s regime in the seventies, which was a time when other communists and democrats were being brutally tortured and even assassinated. To give lectures to the misfits of the Bath’s regime and their security forces then was not only sick, but it was indicative of an immeasurable political nativity that has been characterizing the old and current communist leadership. But it is even sicker when we know that Dr Kathum Habib had asked for a consent, as he states, those in charge of him like the former secretary of the Iraqi Commuist party who in his turn told Dr Habib ‘there is no problem’ with him giving lectures at the Security College. Unfortunately and sadly, it seems that Dr Habib does not see anything wrong with his sick actions. One wonders does it mean that a party’s consent absolve its members of their personal responsibility. Does it mean that a person should stop thinking for him/herself because of bein
