I wont say that I am shocked by the hateful deceptive comments I read here because I am familiar with the retardation of the Iraqi society in about women rights and us the LGBT rights, but what caught my eyes two things first the few positive replying here and the appreciated attempts of Talal Alrubaie who took it upon himself to contact with Amnesty org. honestly I think that there is a chance for the LGBT to be accepted in Iraq one day not so soon but the few open minds can multiply to many open minds, second why in God and nature sake you people think that just because I am lesbian gay queer or homosexual then I am sick or diseased and must get treatment to become straight!!!!!!!!!! I am lesbian and I love it and none of you have the rights to compare the homosexuality with diseases, FYI having lesbian life and lesbian relationship and friendship is something beyond sex and intercourse , our life as LGBT is just a life a normal life .
