Your article is explicit and, although focusing on the medial activity of the party, addresses some of the catastrophic ills charactering the politics of the current leadership of the Communist Party.
It is very sad to see that the leaders of the party have become just like bureaucratic officials working for the corrupt, sectarian government. They do not tell us, in their last declaration, what the benefits of the party being a part of this government have been. Their ear-deafening silence on this and other matters indicates only that they are wallowing in self-despair and have become just a servile tool of the government. The leadership, through its opportunistic, undemocratic stance and lack of strategic program voicing the interests of the oppressed and the unprivileged, has sold itself, and the party, to the enemies of the Iraqi people; its regressive and corrupt forces.
The principle of National Consensus, on which the party’s participation in government is allegedly based, is an US-imposed notion disguising corruption, feudalism and sectarianism. This government is just
