Through its being (just a decorative) part of the sectarian, feudal and most corrupt government worldwide, the leadership of the Communist Party has committed a fatal mistake that, among other things, has reduced the role of the party to the one of being a mere onlooker, and of loosing any real leverage in influencing what is going on on the ground. The leadership seems to be more occupied and preoccupied with pleasing, and endearing itself with, the rightist, exploitative forces, rather than being the voice of the voiceless.
The party has committed a suicide by joining this government. Nothing can bring it back to life unless it immediately withdraws its participation in this government, and starts adopting new politics of going back to its historical role of being a real part, and a mouthpiece, of the oppressed, the underprivileged, the exploited and the marginalized. It needs to take emphatic and forceful efforts to expose and fight corruption at all levels, combat injustice and oppression, and fight for a really democratic and secular constitution.
