Using the language of psychiatry and psychotherapy, which is my profession, and since you ask whether you need a treatment, I would like to offer these brief comments.
You feel hostile towards people who are overtly religious by virtue of their wearing the veil or beard. We are not concerned here with whether your feeling is justified or not. But when you feel hostile towards these people, you think unconsciously that these people can read your mind, detect your internal hostility towards them, and in return are going to be hostile towards you and retaliate against you. I REASSURE you that they can NEVER read your mind and hence they would never know of the way you feel towards them unless you say or do something hostile towards them. Perhaps you are too sensitive, which is not a bad thing at all-as evidenced by the wonderful articles you right, which I always read with the greatest interest and give them the highest score. However, too much sensitivity leads to your being too self-conscious. You can certainly get rid of these ‘paranoid’ thoughts immediately when,
