I read your column and liked it so much. I apologise for commenting on it too late.
First thank om el arabi she always wakes you up at the right moment before you put your self into trouble
You took me back in memory lane when you mentioned cinema Cosmo and Fouad street
I am blessed to be in this Country as a Canadian citizen too like you said and despite what we where and what we had.I always wanted to Immigrate despite it all ( maybe one day well talk about it ), people then thought that I am crazy, but I saw it coming at the time and they did not.
The memories of our lives, child hood, school mates, even our good teachers and the Social life we had not even the good people we knew are not there any more
