I have already read many times this another wonderful and quite wide-ranging critical essay… As usual, I was quite enlightened particularly by your analytic exposition of Lacan’s theory of the four discourses and Hegel’s concept of the dialectical relationship between the master and the slave –according to which both despicable tyrants and dogmatic would-be academics in the Arab World are classified under the same category of subservient power structure. I also like in particular your creative morphological derivations of متبرفس from ‘professor’ and متدكتر from ‘doctor’ deriding the dogmatic would-be academic in question … Well done again… !!!

I’ve just finished reading this wonderful and quite wide-ranging critical essay… As usual, it took me a long time to understand… And as usual, I learned quite a lot from its exposition of important philosophical and political issues –like the Cartesian principle of scepticism and the Marxian concepts of revolution and counter revolution as well as their relevance in the Arab World… Well done again… !!!

This is a very deep and profound essay, Ghiath… To anatomize the mentalities of foolishly snobbish tyrants in the Arab World, as being extremely violent and murderous monsters to innocent peoples on the one hand, and as being submissive and docile servants to the hypocritical West which keeps supporting them to stay in power on the other… Actually this essay with its highly elevated literary style took me quite a while to understand it. But I learned quite a lot from it. Well done again… !!!
