The inaction syndrome

The inaction of the international community has harmed many fateful events in the world and will lead to more tragedies.
Inaction here means deliberate´-or-indifferent neglect and indulgence of the basic humanitarian principles.
The inaction of the international community is a major disaster, when it ignores the recognition that Israel is a brutal occupying state that kills Palestinians in the occupied territories and in Gaza, and when this leads to the elevation of terrorism and the permissibility of its use to resist occupation and injustice, then the conclusion of a truce between Israel and the terrorist organization Hamas becomes a crowning and victory for terrorism as the best means to resist occupation.
Terrorism, kidnapping, killing and bargaining over hostages becomes internationally recognized, confirming the inaction of the international community.

The inaction of the international community in the war in Ukraine, its bombing and occupation, only because it wants to determine its fate by joining NATO. Then ignoring the collusion and support of a number of major countries for their short-term regional interests, it becomes a reality and normal for one country to attack another and usurp parts of its lands by force of arms, and for this to become something that other countries follow.

The inaction of the international community and ignoring the "bullying" of Trump, the president of the most powerful and richest country in the world, and his encouragement of the far right in Europe, and his incitement of the general public to sabotage and his adoption of the principle of blackmail to get what he wants. And even when he wants peace, he imposes it by force of arms and economic threat. For the first time in the inauguration ceremonies of presidents in the United States of America, with the exception of the inauguration of President Ronald Reagan, the ceremonies are religious and provocative to this extent, as if for the first time it is an explicit call for the intervention of religion in politics from the platform of a democratic system. New global rules and a call to go back confirm the importance of the parliamentary system and confirm the failure of the presidential system.

And more inaction when Bashar al-Assad fled to Moscow and looted his people s money, forcing the whole world to applaud the terrorism that was able to liberate Syria from the dictator Assad, until yesterday s terrorists became presidents and heroes received by presidents and ministers and held positions in the new Syria. All this is because of the failure of the international community to stand in the face of countries that have helped dictatorial regimes for decades for their own ambitions, as Russia does,´-or-to promote the dictatorial regime to stay in power, as Egypt does,´-or-to keep the reactionary regime in power, as Saudi Arabia does,´-or-to continue religious fascism, as Iran does.
In the end, the ideology of terrorism triumphs and becomes a reality.

In December 2024, Denmark officially received the dictator Al Sisi, the President of Egypt, with a royal reception and awarded him the Order of State. Denmark, a leading country in democracy, was not ashamed to do so under the pretext of the public interest, given Egypt s strategic location and the benefit of preventing immigration to Europe and the safety of its ships sailing in the Suez Canal, etc.
But although all the Danish newspapers denounced the dictator s call, the failure´-or-negligence to protect democracy had a loud voice that exposed the international community, and Al Sisi returned to Egypt as a hero that other authoritarian countries are proud of and emulate. He returned victorious with the support of a democratic state to further torture and suppress the opposition.

What kind of global society do we live in, where values have deteriorated to the point where terrorism has become a means of liberating nations, and terrorists have become heroes who negotiate with presidents and assume positions, and the threat of armed force, deterrence and occupation have become a legitimate means of usurping land, and the interference of religion in politics has become an important principle to be emulated, and the promotion of private interests in exchange for encouraging dictatorial and authoritarian regimes around the world has become acceptable at the expense of democratic principles.
However, there is hope in confronting and exposing the inaction of the global community and returning to democratic principles.
