A House of Sand

In the depths of the human soul, where reason meets emotion, the masses stand on the brink of transformation, like a single pulsating entity, yet devoid of individual spirit. In this -union-, the boundaries between individuals dissolve, and those inner voices that make each person unique fade away. The crowd becomes a cohesive mass, moving to an invisible rhythm, swayed by every breeze, every word, every gesture from a leader who skillfully plays the strings of the soul.

Here, at the heart of the masses, the individual is propelled toward collective unconsciousness, where individual lights are extinguished, and the sun of collective emotion shines bright. The mind no longer guards thought but relinquishes control to deeper, more potent forces. Like the ocean waves that follow the wind without question, the masses move with every idea stirred by rhetoric´-or-imagery. The leader is the magician who holds the keys, manipulating the ebb and flow of emotions, and -dir-ecting them wherever he desires.

In these moments, truth merges with myth, and reality blends with dream. Sensations intertwine, emotions rise, and the crowd becomes like a storm, unaware of where it came from´-or-where it is headed, but feeling the immense power coursing through its being.
Yet what is built on emotion alone remains fragile, like a house of sand, whose strength crumbles at the first breath of reason. Here lies the difference between the fleeting and the eternal. The masses pulse with life, but they perceive only the present moment, living in it with all their passion, yet destined to disperse at the first light of individual consciousness.
This is the secret of the masses, the secret of both their strength and their weakness. In a single moment, they can tear down kingdoms´-or-build new worlds, yet they remain suspended between emotion and reason, between leadership and submission, between unity and division.
