Ali Bin Abi Talib, Imam revered

Born in the holy city of Mecca
In the house of God, he lived like a spectre
He was a cousin and son-in-law to the Prophet

He married Fatima, the Prophet s daughter

Ali s compassion for the downtrodden was deep

He fed the hungry, clothed the naked
His actions left hearts awaked

In the court of Kufa, he dispensed justice
His decisions were fair, without malice
His integrity was beyond reproach
In his rulings, there was no approach

Ali s devotion to God was unwavering
In his prayers, he found solace, unswerving
His faith was a beacon of light
Guiding hearts through the darkest night

As the Imam for the pious, he taught
In his words, wisdom was sought
His sermons inspired hearts to change
To seek the truth, to rearrange

Ali Bin Abi Talib, a man of honor
In his presence, hearts would soften, warmer
