OH BELOVED, BE GENEROUS AND PATIENT

It was after a long absence and an even longer longing, when he met her
He hastened to greet and hug her with an eagerness
No less than her longing for him and for meeting him
Then he rushed to convey to her the feelings of his lovelorn heart
Through flirtatious verses that he selected from the poetry he wrote to her before:
O beloved, be generous and patient with me
Be loyal to me and present with me
Your goodness to me is precious
Parallel to my life and all expressions
Come closer to the chest of your lover
Who will be the harvest of the fruit
I am the one whom the neighbours of the moon called
Of both, the most beautiful of fairies and humans
Who looked at me with an eyelash and understood me
Who made me visit my spectrum at the time of magic
Who did not fear evil nor did he fear blame
Who seemed light and a little cautious
Who looked after your pure heart
Which responded quickly and waded through the depths
Thinking of meeting me is equivalent to my life
Equivalent to the paradise, to all the pearls and the corals.
