The Myth

The Intellectual Invasion is one of the most important excuses, which we created to justify our failure to give anything significant to humanity. And it’s like the rest of the excuses like conspiracy; doesn’t have any rational base, and it’s only one of the myths that we turned into a basic rule in the way we deal with rest of the world.

The myth of the Intellectual Invasion and the conspiracy myth, both made the Arab person extremely isolated, and caused him to lost the ability to integrate in foreign societies and deal with the new cultures, and it even made him refuse it radically, because he was taught that everything that comes from the outside world is actually targeting his values and principles. Those principles that were portrayed by the Intellectual Invasion promoters to be the best in the world, and that there is no way any other nation could come up with better principles, even though a lot of those principles are filled with false teachings, and they caused the Arab nation to be in the bottom of the humanity, which is the place we still proudly hold till today.

There is no Intellectual Invasion or Conspiracy that targets Arab and Muslims, and even if there is, it’s only the conspiracy of Arabs against themselves by insisting on staying in the swamps of ignorance that they live in. That being said, there is no more dangerous enemy to the Arab people more than some of them.

We can’t blame other nations for seeking their interest over us, because every nation should only seek the good of its people, which is what any decent nation would do. And we have no right to complain or whine, because we all know how to get there and become a civilized nation like the rest of the world, we just chosen not to do so.

A lot of the major nations, who made it to the top, didn’t waste time complaining and whining about who is targeting them and who is not, they just worked hard until they reached that level. And to give a simple example, we have: China (Although they haven’t made much of a progress when it comes to Human Rights), South Korea and Japan. All those countries suffered the same conditions as the Arab countries like repression and colonization, and they managed to wake up and change all that, because they great nations. And if they blamed the others for their mistakes like Arabs did, they would have achieved nothing.

We need to stop being so sensitive about everything that comes from overseas, and stop rejecting it automatically without even giving it a chance. The Arab mind is not functioning anymore and that why it’s so afraid of anything that would require studying and analyzing, so we skip to the easy way out and fully reject anything that comes from the West, and shut people who are against that through using the story of the myth of the intellectual invasion, which have lost its spark, especially when a lot of Arabs discovered it was just a lie, and that they didn’t give anything to the world since ages.

Europeans in the middle ages didn’t mind learning from Arabs, and they were so smart about that, using those Arab theories to give humanity more and more development. Europeans didn’t take from Arabs the Oud or how to make carpets, they toke the vital ideas that would help them come up with better things, and –unlike many Arabs believe – we don’t take any credit in today’s technologies, because some of it might’ve been based on Arab inventions, but all the credit goes to the Europeans who actually made it into something real, and then came the Americans who made it even better.

What are the Arabs doing today while they live their version of the middle ages? What did they take from Europe and America? Just consumable goods that allow them to enjoy their laziness and harming others, and them say all sorts of bad things about Europe and America. They misused everything the western civilization gave them, and they didn’t give it anything in return except trying to destroy it, in a way that can be considered “cheap” and “despicable”.

We don’t have anything that the world wants, we are not the only one with natural resources, and we don’t even control that. Nothing attractive about our societies, and if the rest of the world realizes how rotten our societies have become, they will treat us like someone with a contagious disease.

Let’s just face it. We couldn’t become anything special in the world, so we turned to blaming others for our mistakes, and spend all the time looking for reasons to blame the United States for example, which is a prefect model of a great country.

To sum up: There is no intellectual invasion, and there is nothing that is worth any intellectual invasions, because politicians and some religion men managed to lock-up the Arab mind from accepting anything that would improve their lives. There is no way you can move forward except with a full change in everyone’s life, cultural, moral, social change. And nothing beside that can change the miserable state we are living in. There will be no victory from above or below, only science and moral ethics can change your situation.
